Councillor Andrew Foster
I have lived in Alcester since 2007 with my wife Kathrin and our three children. I have worked in the computer industry for most of my career and currently head up the Project Management Office for a software consultancy based in Birmingham.
I was elected to the Town Council in 2015, have been a member of various committees and served as Mayor in 2018-19. I have chaired the Town Council’s Greig Hall, Business & Tourism and Community Safety Working Groups and my current role is as Lead Councillor for Speed Awareness and Road Safety. I also currently serve as a trustee for the Moorfields Trust which is a local charity supporting local good causes.
Outside of the Town Council I love walking around the beautiful Warwickshire countryside with my family and our dog Paige. I have recently retired from playing club cricket at Alcester & Ragley Park CC and remain an avid supporter of Leeds United!!
