Thank you to those of you who responded to the recent Housing Needs Survey. The results will now be collated by Warwickshire Rural Community Council and the Town Council will be sent a report in due course. The report will provide very useful up to date information for the Town Council.  It will help shape our policies when we update the Alcester Neighbourhood Development Plan and will inform future housing requirements for any new housing development.

At September Full Council the Planning Committee were delegated authority to develop key elements of the response to the Housing Needs Survey Report. This will include developing relationships wih landowners, Warwickshire Association of Local Councils and neighbourig parishes such as Kinwarton Parish Council, Arrow and Weethley Parish Council and formulating an action plan.

At the October Planning Committee meeting it was agreed that this project would initially be taken forward by a small group of councillors from the Planning Committee with the help of the Town Clerk, Vanessa Lowe. Terms of Reference to be drafted and returned to Planning Committee for the January/February 2024 meeting.
